Drama Classes
Held in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, Scottish Youth Theatre's weekly Drama Classes are open to young people aged between 3-25 and offer professional tuition in drama, as well as a great way to meet new friends.
There is a clear progression of development for young people in our weekly classes. Pre-school participants initially work in smaller groups to create characters and stories that will help them to develop imagination and confidence.
As they grow older, participants continue to build their creative and groupwork skills by taking part in acting games and exercises. They will also get the chance to regularly share their skills and ideas by performing in front of the class and for invited audiences.
As the young actors gain in experience and ambition they are continually challenged with fresh and exciting opportunities fitting of their age and ability.
